OsteoStrong Tysons, VA

A Safe, Science‑Backed Approach to Skeletal Strengthening

Build stronger bones, improve balance, mobility & overall strength — in just 15 minutes a week, drug‑free.

OsteoStrong® uses a science‑based process called osteogenic loading that helps stimulate the body’s natural bone‑building response. In just one session per week, OsteoStrong provides a safe, controlled way to expose your skeletal system to the types of forces known to support stronger bones — without the impact, strain, or risks associated with traditional high‑force exercise.

Osteoporosis Osteopenia

“I was shocked when I had a new DEXA scan this week. My body had increased 24% in one hip, 17% in the other, and 30% in my spine to make for a total increase in BMD for one year of OsteoStrong.”

Osteopenia Normal

“Being able to see the increase in strength from the initial visit to subsequent months was significant, but discovering my spine bone scan improvement from osteopenia to ‘normal’ blew me away! The encouragement from the staff has been a huge impact in my life — they are like family.”

How it works

How OsteoStrong stimulates bone growth

OsteoStrong uses patented technology specifically designed to apply osteogenic loading safely and efficiently. Each session involves four specialized stations that target key areas of the skeletal system.

1

Upper body

Controlled loading for the arms, shoulders, and upper spine in precise biomechanical alignment.

2

Lower body

Engages the legs and hips — a key region for strength, stability, and fracture prevention.

3

Spine

Targets the spine and core to support posture and skeletal strength.

4

Full‑body axial loading

Applies force along the body’s axis to stimulate a whole‑system bone response.

During each station, members are carefully positioned in precise alignment. Once proper form is achieved, you apply force against the device for a brief period while the machine provides real‑time biofeedback and measures the exact force generated — a controlled loading environment that minimizes stress on joints and connective tissue. The entire session typically takes less than 15 minutes.

What is OsteoStrong?

A unique wellness system for skeletal strength

OsteoStrong is a unique wellness system focused on skeletal strength conditioning, using patented technology to help members support musculoskeletal strength, bone density, balance, and posture. Through a science‑backed process called osteogenic loading, you complete a brief, sweat‑free circuit of four specialized devices in just 15 minutes, once a week. It is safe, low‑impact, and suitable for adults and seniors.

How it works

Brief, controlled forces prompt your bones to strengthen. Over time your skeletal system adapts — research has studied this approach for its association with improved bone‑density measures.

The science behind it

The Spectrum equipment was developed by biomedical engineer Dr. John Jaquish, Ph.D. — inventor of the Spectrum System and an author on osteogenic loading.

The potential benefits

  • Support for bone density
  • Stronger hips, spine & posture
  • Joint & muscle strength
  • Better balance & stability

The Science

The science of osteogenic loading

Dr. Patel — Spine & Sports Physician

More than a century ago, German scientist Dr. Julius Wolff discovered that bone adapts to the forces placed upon it. This principle, known today as Wolff’s Law, demonstrated that bones become stronger when subjected to appropriate mechanical loading.

This process begins with osteogenic loading — the application of force through the skeletal system. When sufficient force is applied safely through the bones, specialized bone cells detect these mechanical signals and initiate a biological response known as osteogenesis: the formation of new bone tissue.

Why it’s different

Why it is different from a Gym

Many people assume OsteoStrong is simply another form of exercise equipment. It is not. Traditional strength training focuses primarily on muscle development through repeated movement and resistance. While effective for muscle conditioning, these exercises often do not generate the level of skeletal loading needed to maximize bone adaptation. OsteoStrong takes a different approach — the focus is on a brief, controlled exposure to osteogenic forces in the most optimal biomechanical body posture.

Traditional gym

A leg press machine

  • Selecting a weight
  • Performing multiple repetitions
  • Completing several sets
  • Goal: muscle fatigue
OsteoStrong

Brief, controlled osteogenic loading

  • Most optimal biomechanical posture
  • Brief, controlled exposure to osteogenic forces
  • Continuous force measurement & immediate feedback
  • Goal: bone stimulation

The system continuously measures force output and provides immediate feedback to ensure the loading is both effective and safe.
The goal is not muscle fatigue. The goal is bone stimulation.

Clinical studies

Progressive bone stimulation over time

Research on osteogenic loading suggests that bone‑building responses occur when the skeleton experiences forces beyond what it encounters in normal daily activities — the key is progressive adaptation.
